Rice. I am 95 years old, and a long time Harlem resident. I am the founder and President of Harlem Consumers Education Council, Inc. I am concerned about what is happening to seniors. It is a war on seniors. We are in a crisis situation in housing being forced out of our apartments and homes. We are being put into nursing homes that do not care about us. We are victims of elder abuse on all fronts, across the board. Many seniors are being made homeless, and we need dialogue with the powers to be that are suppose to represent us. We are voters. I was forced out of my apartment in 2004, by what was called a constructive eviction, and sent on a roller coaster ride, in-and-out of the courts to get back into
