We Can Do This!
It becomes imminent that I want to
live and interact in a friendly environment as I grow older. It becomes evident the need for more and more creative living survival spaces – micro environments where I can truly be human.
I have been talking with a couple of friends about
having swap meetups. Spaces where we can giveaway, swap, exchange, and sell useful items that we do not use.
By starting to share, exchange, and give away items; it can help to orientate us in the direction of building community and trust.
Environments where we grow and groom respect in a
festive bazaar atmosphere. And, where we can exchange ideas by having discussions and sharing of information. Where we create work and research study groups. Where community commerce takes place on many dimensions while developing social cohesion.
If we circulate things that we have, and don’t use with
each other we keep usable and valuable items out of the garbage bins and
land-fills. Creating swap meets, bartering, and vendor markets for People’s Fair Exchange.
Sweden is having a “recycling revolution”. 1% of their
garbage does not end up in landfills. They are a country that is very resourceful
with waste management. They have waste into energy plants.
Below is links to waste management in different countries.
